Hi, together with all you readers I would like to setup a list of all the things you should watch out for when building links through buying blog posts. I can already start the list with: - Watch out for blogs with very few blog posts and a very high PR. They will sell as many posts as possible on a very short time and the PR will crash. - When posts are offered in bulk, make sure they are hosted on different IP's - After your article is posted watch the source of the page and make sure there is no rel=nofollow added. ... What can you add? Or what is your opinion on my remarques?
good points but I think you overlooked one of the most important aspects: the blog must be NICHE related! So if you go and buy a blogpost on an unrelated blog (no matter how high the PR) this will probably do more harm than good.
People should tread lightly with buying paid links.... Google's against it, and with paying all of that money, if Google does slap you down, it was a waste of money.... I would stick with free link building techniques... they'll take longer, but they'll also be worth more... sorry to threadjack... just my opinion.
of course natural back links are best and indeed you must be careful with buying links but I consider buying blog posts as the most careful way of link building. How can Google ever know that you bought that blog post and that the owner didn't write it spontaneously?
I agree people should pay more attention when buying / selling sponsored reviews (blog posts). A far as I know many sites using ReviewMe got penalized lately, so be careful. Try to make it look as natural as possible.
