I had something similar happen to me on Paypal - basically, because there is no physical proof that you 'sold' something (i.e. a shipping reference), they will always side with the Buyer.

This can happen anytime up to 30 days after the transation, and there doesn't seem to be much you can do about it...

    I did not scam him!

It is true what he said that someone else transferred the money. I was selling him a script, and to avoid paypal fees, I had him transfer the money from his account directly to jjmusicpro's account. Note, I realize this was a bad idea.

Maybe the guy did or chargeback or maybe not, but I feel like I am being scammed.

On an AIM conversation with jjmusicpro, I was offering to return the site to him because the guy did a chargeback, even though I had no proof this was true. Jjmusicpro then said that I had bought the site, so he didn't want it back, he wanted payment.

Now, I am being requested to send payment of $3000.

But, strangely enough, all admin passwords and google adsense ID's for the site have been reset. I called him on this, and this was the email response:

Am I obligated to pay $3000 even after the site has been reclaimed by jjmusicpro? That seems unfair to me....

You tried to pull a scam plain and simple, you got caught, and now your going to pay big time.

You now have all my code, you even took payments from google adsense, you took our intellectual property, and that’s what we will be sueing for.

You will never see a company buy a site, then weeks later try to pull a scam, and say “OH I don’t want it”. The new owner now has copies of the code, as well as any intellectual property from that site.

    Nice try Knine...
