Comments on how it all looks and what the user experience is like, as well as tips to help me improve the sites performance / experience would be nice.

The header is not bad but the rest of the site could use some work you should try
to incorporate some more colors into the color scheme, it's difficult to read some
of the text on the page because the text is light and the background is white you
should use darker text on the page, and change the background color of the template.

Banners are waaayyy too much, looks desperate and pop up page ads make people leave the site, especially when they are unrelated. Maybe if you had your own pop up of Family Guy Episodes for sale, it would fit better and maybe even get a better response.

What will make people come to your site, instead of just going to You Tube or Hulu ? You need to offer more content like maybe Family Guy wallpapers, screensavers, products, collectibles, DVD's.

Your site is obviously about the ads, and not the content or the user experience. Too many redirects, it's not easy to navigate, and I clicked on an episode and one took me to "megaupload" and another opened another ad.
Not once did I see an actual episode that you could actually play.

Your site does not look trustworthy. People won't comeback.

Yeah, I see way to many banners, there all over the place. However, fantastic header, it's simple and high quality.

It's a little hard to navigate, and you will probably be attracting mainly 12 year old kids who aren't that great at operating a computer, so you gotta dumb it down a little.

Those are the only bad things I noticed, however many good things that you shouldn't change. The domain is great, idea is great, and it's put together pretty well too.

too many advertisements. it's way too difficult to advertise with all those ads in the way.

could use some rollover effects, too

With the exception that "Family Guy" is a registered trademark of 20th Century Fox, when they find your site, you can expect a letter in the mail.

Never used trademarked names when registering a domain, especially if you are using it for to make money off of the owners content, it's like throwing away $10, that's why they are available, no one else wants to touch them.

i'm not trying to pick an argument here, but what about say... myspace.

how many myspace resource websites have 'myspace' in the domain? a terribly high amount.

It is totally dependent on weather say for example myspace wants to pick a fight with them. Myspace could and would probably easily win, however they choose not too, it's not in their best interest.

20th Century Fox on the other hand is kind of in bed with the RIAA. They will go after anyone/sue anyone because they feel it is in their best interest to protect their property.

Unfortunately Production Companies are not as forgiving and are usually very protective of their brands because there is tons of money in licensing at stake.

"Other people do it" is not a great defense when you are using someone else's name. I'm not saying to shut it down, or anything, you obviously knew it was trademarked when you got it and didn't care...just don't be surprised is all I'm saying.

A reasonable user could possibly make the mistake that this site is operated by 20th Century Fox because of the name and the content, and that is where the problem is. It's the owners call whether or not they want you to use it, and you have no control over that because you didn't ask permission.

Companies take offense when people use their brand to make money, and many of them just sit back and wait for someone to infringe, and then just send a few letters and take the domain away, instead of registering every variation. If they want it, you have to give it up, or shut it down.

There are other Family Guy sites with "Family Guy" in the name, but they have disclaimers on them. I would at least do that.

There is no way for you to know if they are under legal action or not, which is why most people steer clear of other peoples trademarked names.

I'm just saying it's a risk. It may be that they don't care, or never even hear about it.

You have other problems besides that anyway.

I like the concept of having a site where you can watch the episodes. The design could be a bit better and the ads are too much...too many and in your face. A redesign could help you spread those ads out a bit.

Clear site and the layout is not so good. Try with some other layout and place a preview screen shot of the chapter in home page.
