hi friends, in one article i read about doorway pages wat its actually means plss can any one help me in this matter
doorways mean farm blog --> the content of the site is auto generated and does not have any useful information to user but it does cheat to google bot. pp try to cheat search engine to think the doorway page is rich content -- > after doorway page has high Pagerank, pp will point to their main website. Example: here is my two doorway pages, i hope google will not know it and you will not report to google about it just kidding http://mobilephonenews.awardspace.us/ http://mobilephoneinfo.awardspace.co.uk/
The idea of doorway pages is to create a site highly targeted toward a particular search phrase in order to attract search engines bots for that purpose and nothing else. It is not meant to please human visitors and mainly it is needed to provide all the necessary traffic and pass on page rank. doorway pages means nothing cloaked pages. Cloaking means large number of pages with adsense in it. Anyway google is penalizing all the doorway pages website.
Basic tos for Google says you cannot link between sites that you own(registered in your name). If you sell office furniture, you may not create 10 new sites for office chairs, office desks, etc and link them back to the main site. This is a network of doorway pages.
