wat is maxium words are character should be use in meta tags

hi to all,

for a new domain if we insert meta tags is there any limt to of words that if we use 70 characters like that if yes wat limt for keywods and descrption pls help in the matter

 

Limit your title tags to 65 characters & description tags to 150 characters (including spaces)...you can use more characters but google will not display the info beyond this limit.

 

We can write long titles and descriptions but what's the use? Most of the search engines trim the length in around 65 characters for title and 100 for description. So if you are writing long titles and descriptions better condense your keywords in the beginning.

 

I think it should be 65. There is no need to write more than 65-70 characters because google will not consider if you go beyond the limit.

 

Try and squeeze in the best detail you can use in those 65 Characters! Although, from trends i've seen lately, keywords and description arent even that helpful anymore..

 

Title - 50 characters
Description - 250 characters
keywords - 500 characters

 

The limit for title tags to 65 characters & description tags to 150 characters. Best is try to keep your keywords and description short as far as possible.
