Wat are backlinks

Still just to humour him: 'back links' are hyperlinks that point back at your website. You can check these by doing a google on the term 'link:yoursite.com'

 

Backlinks are links from other site to your site.

You can create or build them by just submitting your site's info in directories or by doing link exchange.

 

Do we need permission from the site owner to add his links on our blog.

 

You need the permission of site owner on which you are going to put your link... try the "Directory" section of this forum , you will get a lot of free directories in which you can submit your site and get "Back Links"

 

Why do you need permission from the site owner to add ''his links'' on your blog

 

Have tried using command link:domain.tld
No wonder..., my site only has a few back link.
