    Is it a good domain name for a Web Hosting Site?

    Perhaps, this domain will not be suitable for your business. Because such domain name is generated when someone makes typo with the domain thehostingcompany.com, I would suggest you to choose other domain name.

    Any name can be good with branding. This name is ok but will loose quite a significant to typo traffic to thehostingcompany.com

    I agree with others that it is not a good name as you'll simply drive traffic to thehostingcompany,com.

    I'd purchase the correctly spelled version OR come up with a generic name that you can brand. Almost ANY word would work. Look at GOOGLE as an example. They could have named themselves THESEARCHENGIN,com. Would they have succeeded?
