I don't think it does. I think it was just an attempt to take the thread, your thread, off on a tangent because you had no way of responding to my points.
You don't think or you don't know or can't be bothered or what? I was keeping well within the subject, subject of topic if you made half an attempt to read the whole thread (article).
Do some research opium has been around since the cave man times, opium is an extract of the poppy plant.
You went from saying a rock formation that looked like a face in one photo was made by aliens and then, when it was proven that the rock formation doesn't actually even look like a face in reality, going off on some entirely unrelated tangent about humans plundering resources. You were obviously just trying to change the subject.
Seqqa, Do you actually believe in spaceships from outer planets involving aliens? Von Daniken didn't make a lot of sense to me.
Well what's not to say that there's other civilizations that are thousands or even millions of years ahead of our evolutionary state, and they have ventured out into the universe? I'm not even saying these are little green men, they may not be biological life at all they may be mechanical (robots) It'd make sense as all they need is energy to keep going and there's enough stars out there they could harness.
There's nothing to say they haven't, but that is no reason to assume they have, and it's even less of a reason to assume they have with the intention of building giant poorly sculptured faces on mars that only look like faces when viewed from a certain angle and imaged using low resolution cameras.
I agree with you this time, anything that does have the inteligence to leave it's home planet behind would not be making pattens on the surface of other planets. Although I did mention it before, I was getting at the point that maybe they weren't just random and maybe there was a small possibility that they were created artificially for some reason by something.

Religion is principals the rules that makes peace, justice and equality islam is the best the religion in whole world and created by god teach by holly prophet Muhammad(PBUH).
I think Von Daniken has been pretty much found out to be making the whole thing up. That said, I think there are more things in heaven and earth than we know but we should be careful of people claiming to KNOW the real truth as they are usually deluded, charlatans, criminals or a combination of all three.
It wasn't written by Von Daniken that was just a small quote of of a book Von had written, the article itself was written by a guy called Hans Grasholm written on 5-Jan-2003.
It just seems a remote idea to visit a planet from deep space and not set up shop for every reason possible to think of. Only humans on this planet would give a hoot and why should that matter to the ailiens, in fact meeting the natives is partly the reason to take the trip.
