wow, mitcharr, how old is your friend?!
If he's around your age, wow.
Are you sure that he drew that?

I'm willing to try and color it, if it's ok with you.
-by the way prize money was increased to 100 i think,

Hmmm, this actually may be a lot harder than i originally thought, considering it needs a 50x50 and a single color version, and the image has a lot of sketch marks.

lol live trace with that sketch? nope

Well, i don't think he liked the first one,
If he seems interested in the second one i will attempt and color it, looks a bit difficult, but will try.

If i do attempt, it seems i would have to re-trace every little detail. =(

I like the 2nd one (first one with the man-boobs is a little scary :) ).
I would need it colored (as well as single-color).

Prize is $100. I'll pay ONE person, and they can split the money based on any agreement they've made (I don't want to get into arguments about what side-deals people made or didn't make).

Wow, Character anatomy is great. Salute to artist. A 13 years old artist with extraordinary skills. He is Exceptional and unbelievable.

    About coloring the character:
I agree that creativity to be respected and honoured highly but at the same time coloring this type of character is not going to be simple. With this type of sketch coloring plays an important role to project all its anatomy in right manner. So I suggest if anyone willing to color it than share the prize money equally. :)

Umm yeah...this is coming from a "designers" (if that is what you call mitcharr) "friend". How many contests has mitcharr entered and copy/pasted somebodys design. The two concepts that were sketched were totally different, and why the heck would you get paid for something that your friend did? O, and you can't color? How shocking is that since every design you make in PS (your illegal version that you even tried to sell on here) looks like complete junk.

Lets look at another point, he labels it with his initials on one sketch, but not the other?

Did I forget to mention the fact that I found the real artist of your "friends first entry"? The artist lives in Virginia, not Melbourne, AU or Melbourne, FL; whichever one you actually live in.

Seriously kid. You need to grow up and stop trying to make a profit off of others work. Living a scandoulous life isn't going to get you anywhere. Try to learn yourself and get some talent of your own, before you get yourself in some major trouble.

The second image looks like some type of fan art.

    Ban mitcharr? Yes, please.

I agree with you, but I don't think you should ban him... Everybody makes mistakes, so do I and I think you should give him a second chance! He's only 13 and he's still got a lot to learn ;)

I had a feeling somethings was fishy, last time i am so trusting,

Well that says it all, Thanks Mike S.

As for mitcharr, You need to learn, fast. Seriously. You have any idea what could happen?
You can get in big trouble in REAL LIFE, and if you keep it up, it won't just be a warning. I realize you are just a child, but wow every word outa your mouth is a lie. Please stop mitcharr
    - All someone has to do is simply contact the owner of the drawing, inform him. That's it! Then he/she will probably try and contact you, then who know's what will happen.

    - Too bad the thread i started about this was moved, when clearly it belonged here to inform, but killerj, the copycat paster, claimed it was a "lame" topic with another copycat and reported it and i got an infraction for it. -_-'

Yeah it's very annoying when people do things like this - are you really that desperate for $50 - or whatever your cut was going to be - that you are willing to get legitimate contest holders into trouble? It's immature, selfish and irresponsible. Your attitude on forums etc. is taken into account whenever you are hired, whenever you enter contests etc. people can see stuff like this and it all counts against you. Hopefully this thread won't be deleted, so it's easy for people to see what's happened.

    Mitchaar, you disappoint me.

This is not being creative, expressing yourself or any such thing in any way. You stole somebody elses drawing to use as the main concept of a logo, and the contest holder trusted this. This isn't just you; it affects every legitimate designer here and the reputation of the contests forum on the web.

No respect from me. He's only 13, but we all know that could be a damn lie too. Even if it isn't, what's done is done and lost is lost. He's lost a whole lot more than that artist would've lost. Respect. And that is priceless.

    Thanks Mike S. for headsup.

I never suspect a designer's creativity. I was designing a warrior character for this contest. But when I saw great talented entries here I stopped doing it with a fear that my entry stands no where. mitcharr really scared me with two of his friend's Master Pieces.:D :D Copycats are making other creative designers winning chance to zero. Too bad!.

Even I was very much impressed at BLaZeR entry. (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=2719887&postcount=20) But suddenly the entry has vanished. This contest really put me in doubt whether to participate or not.

@ mitcharr : Hi, do not mediate between your friends and digitalpoint forum contests. Be polite and creative. Whether you Win or Loose carryon contributing original thoughts. Every entry you post here will add to your experience. Your experience will make you a creative person. Do not repeat it in future. Let us vote for creativity.:)
