    Hello

This company http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/ is allowed by yahoo to fraud people out of money, they have been draining my account for a few months with keyword searched i don't even have and telling people to click on links that don't even sell products that they show.

Here you will see how they do it.

    http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk...er-price-baby-minnie-musical-huglight.asp#buy

You will see that they ask you to Click Here to Buy Online this will take you to the bottom of the page where the sponsor links are, then they say "We do not currently have any online shops offering this product. It may still be available from other stores on the Internet or you may find it new or used on eBay or from one of the shops listed below."

So most people would click on one of the links to find that product, but all off the sponsor links including me (when i was on it) do not sell that product, and that's just one out of the hundreds of hits i was getting from them ( what a ffffing con)

I did inform Yahoo about this and showed them the page, they agreed that the way they done it was suspect but have done nothing about it, i found out a few days later that comparestoreprices.co.uk is a partnersite of Yahoo! (strange that)

So if you are not a multi million pound company i would stay clear off YAHOO and comparestoreprices.co.uk.

It seems to me they are encouraging people to click on the ads by practically saying "click my sponsored links below from YPN as they may have the product you are looking for, I know they don't have it but still click on them because after all it will help me make money while you'll waste your time and the advertiser will lose their money.

Are you sure the site is a partner of Yahoo? It's not the best designed site in the world.

I would have thought YPN would have close the sites account or told them about it as it should be a TOS violation. I have not read their TOS, but this sort of thing that they are doing would be a violation of the Adsense program without a doubt.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yahoo called me back and we was on the phone for hours, because they could not see my ad running and they told me the partner thing was a mistake for one of the other staff, i do believe them.

This is how they do it, they have no contact number to call, the one we did find was a dead line, they are using a 3rd party account to place the ads on they site, and if you call the 3rd party the wont disclosed private info ( yahoo will contact them"they said?)

And this is the real clever part, i could see my ad when i looked and yahoo could only see google ads, this was driving me mad as i knew my ads was on they site, so after going backwards and forwards we worked it out, i use the google search bar so only see yahoo ads, yahoo staff was using a yahoo search bar so was only seeing googles ads, clever software hey.. so they are conning both parties, not sure if you have heard of this before, i havent nor have yahoo.

So i think yahoo is now interested in this company and told me they will get back.

So i will update here soon.
