WARNING - phishing links in PM from taldows45

Be careful .. This guy ( taldows45 ) sends a PM with thread url but actually it goes to his own website and logs all your data !
Just wanted to let you know guys, while he is not banned - someone can get in troubles

 

Checking his profile he is sending PM's at the moment

 

Err..what data he can log about us??

 

Cookiez ?? That's enough to kick you down ..

seokev - another guy sending the same phishing link via PM letters. Be careful !

 

If you get any phishing links in your PM or anything as such, just post the profile link here or report the PM directly, these sort of threats catch the mods eye immediately.

 

I know only 1 mod nickname - reported already ! That's why I posted it here ( his username ) - to get some attention from other mods and solve it question faster

 

To report a PM, go here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php

Find a moderator who's currently online, and forward them the PM. This will catch their eyes faster.

I think there should be a "Report PM" icon, just like for posts. It would make mods' lives easier, too.

 

The same suggestion was posted by me a week ago - they said that it's not possible to add it at the moment

 

So just what can happen if someone does get to yor cookies? How is that done and can you protect yourself from that happening?

 

I hate such scammer in dp . mods please ban such Scammers .

 

thanks for the warning. I had to report someone not long ago for asking for several pieces of personal information. they got banned thankfully.
