Suggestion Warning msg on infraction

it would be pretty good if an user could be notified via a warning msg via pm (automated) when he/she is infracted, also the person who had spread infraction to him (if pm is sent I believe the userid of who gave infraction will be displayed,)

if otherwise, the user will have no clue if he had got an infraction, especially those who are new r beginners in vB forum modes

I hope u can consider this suggestion and implement for the betterment of the forum and the users

I think the option is available is only for sending a mail to the recipient when the op is infracted!

 

it doesn't show any warning msg like a pm notifying we have to check settings panel for that and I highly doubt if users would be keen to visit their settings page regularly to check if they got an infractions or warnings
vB has a feature, when a user is infracted, warning pm can be sent - this is much simpler method of user getting notified of the mistake he/she has committed

and the current option just shows just the date but doesn't give a alert - like we have got an pm r vm

 

I think it would be better if user is notified by pm rather than mail, as when a user visits forum he would be getting a pop up and this would make him more attentive
(in my personal case, I hardly check mails been sent from dp, as most of them are pm's and I just delete them as I prefer checking them out directly in dp, and def. there could be some people like me as I personally knew few of them myself)

 

Good idea but both would be even better
1. If you don't use email notification
2. If you use it, to know if you banned because then you won't be able to access your Inbox
to read your PM messages

we are probably going to know if banned r not only via email r msg on logging on to forums, that's a total different subject,
ya both should be on by default, user must also get the chance to enable r disable email notification, just like its on now
