    :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

    Hello
    We regularly review sites in the AdSense program for compliance with
    our program policies.

    It has come to our attention that you are encouraging visitors to visit
    :::site.com:::: via unsolicited posts to user groups such as
    ::::site.com:::

    Please note that publishers may not bring unnatural attention to a
    website displaying Google ads through unsolicited mass emails or
    unwanted advertisements on third-party websites. These activities are
    strictly prohibited in order to avoid potential inflation of advertiser
    costs.

    We advise that you review our posted policies and Terms and Conditions
    to ensure that your account remains in compliance with our guidelines.
    Please do not make further unsolicited posts on third party websites
    encouraging users to visit sites showing Google ads. If you violate our
    program policies in the future, we may discontinue your participation
    in Google AdSense.

    nino's a joker so half the time i cannot tell his jokes from his truths. :D:D

    but i'd say that's a warning and that as long as you take it off you'll be fine. not too sure about the yahoo part though.

    aww cmon don't bully the poor n00b! :)

    seleno, if i were you i'd take off everything form yahoo groups, whether allowed or not. i for one won't want to risk my account. after you've done that, shoot an email to G saying you apologise and that you have taken steps to comply. they'd appreciate that.

    they didn't get warning emails, did they? ;)
    well i wouldn't know if they're allowed or not, but since G warned you (and being vague as always) i'd rather lose a few visitors than losing the account.

    Seleno,

    Google is telling you not to encourage people to visit your site by posting to forums. Someone apparently reported you for posting to forums asking people to visit your site. It's a violation of Google policy to draw unnatural attention to your site if Google Ads are on it. Be careful how you word your posts so that it doesn't sound like you are encouraging people to visit and maybe click an ad.

    You're VERY lucky to have just gotten a warning, I'm surprised they didn't just kick you out.

    EDIT: Never mind.

    If Yahoo allows it, you can add other ads there. I just wouldn't have Google ads on Yahoo site!!! :D:D:D

    but like in here, we post threads asking people for opinions about our site under the placement/reviews section.
    isn't that also considered asking people to visit our site?
