May be true in some cases .

In my case, i always submit to the categories requested by my clients. If there is no such category, I did not submit that site and report them as "No suitable Category".

I get that on my payed sites, does us no good at all being on a dummy page. From time to time I will mention to this people to not do that, to place my reciprocals on a page that is not interconnected wih the main site (homepage) or with a page that has more than 30 or so links in them.

I do have an example of what that reciprocal page links is and you can find it here Reciprocal Links Page. Heck even Google likes the link it as I found it on the web as I searched, so on the next Pr update, that page will gain some PR's no doubt about it. When it has PR most will diffenantly reciprocate with you.

@Dotcompal...just submit to the proper category,...If it is a Directory you're submitting, don't submit it to Directory, that's a Top category buddy;)

I've used a number of submission services.

The job Amit did for me had the highest acceptance rate of them all.

    Regards

As a directory submitter I always follow what my client wants me to do, and why not he is the person who pays me.

What's wrong with these submission services is that very few are offering a complete service: as well as knowing how to submit properly, you need to be writing correct descriptions and placing them in the right categories. If you allow inexperienced webmasters to choose their categories, most will put down top categories, thinking that this method will get them the most PR. But it won't, it will get their sites rejected.

The majority will also write poor descriptions full of things like "We are the market leaders in Acme Widgets, supplying the widest range of high quality gear. Free delivery until Tuesday!"

How to solve this problem? I would encourage submission services to pair up with people who are experienced in writing acceptable directory descriptions, and suggesting the right categories for them. It may seem like a simple thing, but obviously it's not because so many submitters, definitely the majority, are getting this wrong. It's the sort of thing that will make manual directory submission far more successful.

you're knocking on dotcompals. jesus christ, you're pathetic.

i have a very high regard for Prashnath. he's a very polite and respectful individual. he does his job and does it well.

really, before mouthing off and calling him disrespectful, try and converse with him and get to know him. you will be hard pressed to think otherwise than what i mentioned above.

Not all link submission services are bad and youll always get some that will abuse. I see that smartsubmittool.com could be an alternative for the future? Dont have to much info on it yet but if the owner sabian is anything to go by it should be pretty good.

And I have a royal fucking flush, you dip.
I don't tell anyone to submit to top level categories. Instructions are to submit appropriately, if the category does not exist.

When i want a top level category i PAY for it, unlike your begging ass.
You see, I promote my sites. I don't change templates 6 times a year and cry foul, like you do.

If there isn't correct category that doesn't give anybody right to go an submit into wrong categories. I have limited categories in my directory and want to keep it that way. So i would also delete all submissions to root without even reading them.
