Hello, I am posting this as a waning to others considering using the SEO services of James McCormick and his associated companies including Hosted by 360, Created by 360, etc. I will keep this as brief as possible, but can back anything up with hard evidence if needed. I don't want anyone else losing out the same way I did. After having some prior dealings with James McCormick we agreed that he would provide me with an SEO service which included creating and optimising a site as well as continuing maintenance and promotion. At the start he was paid a sum in advance (for the creation of the site) and a monthly retainer for his SEO services (this was set up as a PayPal subscription). The progress through the first month was extremely slow which included numerous delays on various things. At the end of the month the progress was what I would have expected and most importantly what James represented would have happened in the first week or so. As such, it was my intention to cancel the next months subscription and recommence it the following month when a months volume of work (as agreed at the start) had actually been done. Unfortunately, I forgot to do this, and only after had it been automatically taken from my account did I request for it to be refunded. James acknowledge my dissatisfaction and the slow progress, but refused to refund and money and instead said my faith would be restored and certain things would not be done within a couple days. I expected the efforts to be doubled to compensate. These things were not done. I asked for a full refund as it was clear I would continue to receive a substandard service (if at all), which was not what I had signed up for. Subsequently James has not responded to any communication, except for a couple of semi-aggressive insults. James claims to have many satisfied clients and perhaps this is true, but it is also quite clear, he is variable and is also happy to scam and steal from others. I would advise people to stay well clear. If he decides to do the right thing I will will update this post. John
I will look into www.bbb.org although the concept only looks like it will work between reasonable parties. All correspondence has indicated to me that James McCormick is being anything but reasonable in this case.
