    it is quit hard to tell which kind of link have quality......i found many friend whose have good quality link but still they suffer by "PANDA". And hope the google team will change it soon.

    I don't think traffic matters to Google only, though it sends most of the traffics to your site.

    For example, being on Page 1 doesn't ensure that you will get the attention of the search user. Its upto the search user, which link he/she will visit.

    That's why it's a good idea to diversify your links. Article marketing, .EDU and .GOV links, blog commenting, and the like. Even if one method becomes obsolete due to Google's algorithm changes, you'll still have other reliable sources to lean back on and keep your ranking.
