Warning - Google Is Watching Us!

Just a quick note for those who buy links regularly, I bought some links last week and they have now been cached by Google however since they have been cached my site has not risen in the SERPs as expected.

I checked using google webmaster tools and all my links are there, even the ones I inserted into a word press theme and it has over 15,000 backlinks but NONE show up when you search for links due tot he high number and the fact they link back to one page.

So if you buy links, just know Google is watching and will penalise you if you step over the line.

how old is your site and how many backlinks did u buy?

if they seem unnatural then I can see google taking action but if you buy small amounts and they look natural then I dont see how they can cause problems

It also depends on the sites you bought the links from.

You've also got to wait and give G time to update the SERPs. For non-QDF queries it can take 9-10 days to see the jump we love so much.

If you using almost regular techniques to do with your site and don't try to spam, then there's nothing to worry.

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing the story and warning. Yes You should be very careful while buying the links. Make sure the links are from good websites and not from a illegal one. And yes go slow and study to stand for a longer time with Google.

Well, maybe it's not the buying of the links that the problem, but the fact that they all point to one page? What happens if you buy links that point to different pages?

I think that it depends on who you're buying links from.
    Pay attention to link farms

Google is always watching, don't do anything you wouldn't want them to know about. Ultimately they can figure it out if they want.

Cached by Google does not mean a rise in SERPs. Especially not in one week.

Google hasn't been showing many (or most) links when searching for them for years now. It's nothing new.
