I used to get in those wondering why they were there. Now I know I am happy to see something that takes away from the web will decline. Also it really is nothing new G has beeen cracking down for a least a year. Google are in charge of the glorious game and they make the rules.

Google uses their technology and finds that are you requesting to click on the ads. My friend once posted a thread in his forum regarding the clicking on the ads of his site which was banned by google.

So, the real SEO and the real webmaster will play for the real adsense now.
That is good news for the advertiser and for the publisher also :D

I'm really curious how many websites have been blocked recently by the Adsense team.

Google has blocked my MFA site. See it here. Just joking, its not MFA. :D

The Adsense bot has actually started to obey robots.txt files (it never did on my site before). Because of that, Adsense can't crawl the pages and the site is blocked.

Before jumping to conclusions on whether MFA's are blocked, check out their robots.txt file first. It seems the Adsense bot now wants to crawl every last crumb, if not it will block the entire domain...

I just checked a huge MFA site that I have been watching for over 4 years.
The AdSense ads are still there. But they are ALL PSAs!
PSAs galore. I have never seen so many.
I could not find a single ad that was NOT a PSA!

So yeah, I think that they have definitely "stepped it up".

This is a giant, important step that took google so long to take.
I am glad that there are no complaints of good sites being misjudged as MFA sites. Google did it well.

i can understand how so many MFA owners are being hit hard
