Received this email from them just now, figured I'd spread the word here. Don't risk your account for the mythical "quick buck" folks.
Yeah, I got that warning email too. It's always advisable to know the TOS and not take shortcuts. Quick, sloppy, "guaranteed" methods may generate some income in the short run but they're usually a quick guaranteed way to get your affiliate ID suspended. It's not worth it when there are legitimate methods that are more sustainable.
Personally I think its a good decision from maxbounty and those leads are just fake or cheating in most cases. So Real warning for the inexperienced maxbounty affiliates.I hope they will see the email soon and stop wasting money for getting those fake affiliates.
People who use freelancers don't realize that they're cutting their own throat. This puts the industry in a bind and will will bring the revenue down for all publishers (to cover the losses).
It would be inevitable that IM would start seeing folks buying services with fake leads, Adsense and other PPC networks have already caught on, so it was only a matter of time before the affiliate networks catch on
Well said, Dave. Those freelancers and/or guaranteed lead services hardly hurt the industry. Stop using them now.
