I received a warning for duplicate content but have no idea what it's referring to.

    I can't fix something unless I know what's broken.

Didn't come with info about the thread?

When you have a marketplace item you can't promote that item in it's own thread in the forum. Use your signature if you want to boost visibility.

I saw the information about the thread, but am I not allowed to create a dedicated support thread?

@sarahk What exactly is the rule?

What does it mean by "You are welcome to create a support thread here in the appropriate forum if you need"?

@digitalpoint Maybe you can offer some insight instead?

My warning has been removed, so I am assuming I didn't break any rules after all.

I wonder how many people get banned for no reason and can't create a support thread to dispute it...

It's a fair question but since the move to Xenforo I suspect fewer people are banned. Now that we can delete posts and give a reason to the poster I'm using that a lot. For everyone else they have to accrue warnings - either 5 or 10 depending on whether they are "established" or not. Most warnings die lonely deaths and have little impact.
