Guys cmon get serious..can you show us some examples? before making such claims?

Blogger does not take any money from your blogs. I have checked the widget and it doesnt have any other pub id besides mine

I wonder how people trust unconfirmed sources.

If you are using new blogger + "AdSense widget" you have the extra pub. Many people confirm it.
Just view source of your blog (not xml source).

I am not sure what it is used for but no explanation so far.

That's certainly an interesting take on things hmansfield. I'm not sure they could legitimately use that reasoning because not every Blogger user has AdSense. I'm curious as to why they'd see the need to penalise Blogger users for a larger cut - they probably get something ridiculous like a 50% revenue share anyway. What about Google Pages - are these second pub-IDs visible in ads on there?

I am using the new blogger and its not there in my code. The "view Source" code doesnt have that extra field.

Oh i got it now..after reading Leander's code carefully. I noticed this could happen to people using "Adsense" widget under Add template.

I am using "Edit HTML" widget to add my code instead of the "Adsense" widget..

I think people need to check into claims before making them. I think this proves nothing but that blogger is the host. I love the widget because it does the blending of the ads for and makes it look nice with the templates I use.

If google is that hard-up for money that they need part of my little bitty adsense money then have it!

Adsense is not scared of losing over 1 million adsense publishers. There is no demand at all. If not, too many already.

No offense, but that makes no sense! They advertise on your site and pay you a percentage, they sell the ads through adwords. There is no such things as too many publishers. If there was, Google would put a limit on how many publishers could sign up. Even if each of the million you state only made a $1 a month, that means Google would lose millions a month. They want their ads on as many publishers as they can get to make as much money as possible.

The Canadian should have married him so he could have ended up with a sizeable portion of hi wealth. That would have been a real blow. I guess lots of ewomen do that by marrying rich men.
