first off, hi, john here, been reading for awhile and decided to register

this is mostly for those getting into email marketing. DO NOT BUY EMAIL LISTS FROM bigemailmarketing.com...buying lists is a waste of time anyway but i figured id give it a try. fortunately they QUICKLY refunded my money. on their site they say they accept visa, MC etc etc etc but when you click on 'buy now' youre redirected to mpayy.com to register and pay using your mobile phone. when i emailed saying i dont want to do that, your site says you accept CCs they sent me a link to a paypal invoice. ordered a list expecting a download link like promised only to be told its in the mail. well i got it yesterday and its a handwritten labled CD ROM with software thats outdated written by someone whos no longer reachable...long story short...AVOID THEM as well as avoiding buying lists...sent out around 15,000 emails today and ALL came back undeliverable

I have been an advocate of email advertising for years now. Even longer than I have been a member of this forum! I have purchased from www.bigemailmarketing.com and received everything I needed for an email campaign and it worked out Great! Some people get their expectations too high with email marketing and if you are receiving undeliverables then you may be sending out bad email advertisements. Sorry I couldn't support you on this, but my experience was great with this company and email marketing in general as long as you know what you are doing.

for some reason i dont buy that...you may be telling the truth but the way it was done tells me otherwise...just the fact they sent a handwritten CD instead of the download link should have been a red flag to me...but once i started getting a ton of "undeliverable" emails filling my inboxes was the point i called BS (actually the outdated software created by someone who is no longer reachable was the point, but i tried on my own afterwards and THEN called BS)

Mack, peon with two posts and this is th only thread. Sounds like you might be the owner of BigMailMarketing{RipOff}.com - Hint Hint. Yes ai got jipped by them as well. i purchase through there website, got a disk in the mail that only contained "83 million emails" rather than the entire package with over "500 million emails"

There were less than 2 million emails and over 60% were john at aol from 2004. I call BS. I might even consider puying that domain name mentioned above and let you have it, because you/someone else would not refund my purchase.

I hate it but there are still crooks out there, to bad some are good at SEO.

@johnny thank you for posting this.

not a problem jason, i thought the same too as to this guy being the owner "ive been into email marketing for longer than ive been on this forum"...youd think someone on a forum for 5 years would have more than 2 posts LMAO...i got scammed/pulled into this site since im a n00b but im learning...this is the 1st of 2 i got scammed by (see my other thread for the 2nd) so i wont be buying into this crap anymore...old fashion way is the way to go...time and effort

No I am not affiliated with the site in any way. I knew that this was something that you might not want to hear considering the title of the topic, but it is the truth. My experience with that particular company was good. That is all I am saying. I don't care if anyone else supports them or not.

P.S. I am certainly not a PEON when it comes to blogging. I have been a member of NEO WIN forums for years and made hundreds of posts. Digi point is just not something that I normally post on, but seeing the topic here, I felt propelled to speak on it.

I have been marketing online for 10 years now and can tell you that BUYING LISTS is a VERY BAD IDEA. At some point you will find yourself in VERY hot water for sending out SPAM (Unsolicited email). You cannot just sell off people's email addresses and allow people to mail them at will. In order to email legitimately, people must opt-in to YOUR email list directly. That's the only SAFE and reliable way to get results and stay out of trouble. Anyone who tells you otherwise is out to make a buck at your expense.

    Hope this helps.

You know we live, we market, we learn. As infinite put it, the best way is the real way. To be completely transparent I thought I would buy the list and resale it in smaller lists. I guess karma had different plans.

Building a list takes time, intuition, and product worth a damn. I've learned since then (buying the list) that the best way to build a list is be genuine and offer something of real value. It may take some cash advertising if you're not well know online but at least you start with a real list of real people interested in you and your services/products.

All the pro's we hear about online today started back in the early 2000's when the internet marketing scene was truly a "wild west". Guys who can start fresh in todays IM world and make it big are true professionals and they're the ones to follow.

Agree with this statement. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Building a successful online business takes time, effort and it does not happen overnight!!
