I'm not in UK, but I don't trust it. You said it's virus, what kind of virus is it?
When you give warning like this you should also include valid proof e.g antivirus logs, etc, etc

would you be more specific and let people know on which ads caused the virus alert ? doesn't help blackening the entire url - could be anything!

No point in opening a dispute against it.. they paid pennies not even worth me bothering with them.. since if it can happen once it can happen again.

The ad was a 468 x 60 banner.. The url was one of my sites url's so its not going to help anything.

I had them too myself previously in the past. It's annoying... but it just could be a bit of messed up JavaScript that's being interpretted as a virus.

I Disagree bidvertiser is bad, if you manually approve ads you can make 25 cents per click easy, with my experience i actually made more with bidvertiser.

The only problem is they dont match your sites content so users dont think its as useful.

that is quite weird. And it is the first time I am hearing such words. Could be though, not impossible! However, I am sure once Bidvertiser recognizes this virus-ad, they will remove the advertiser straight. They are quite professional, otherwise they wont be where they are now.

Looks like a false positive, or it came from an advertiser.

The virus name "JS/Downloader Agent" is simply a generic tag which identifies webpages containing JavaScript code which could potentially download and execute code.

Probably false positive. Sadly lots of people are poorly informed on computers and are gullible to anti-virus company tactics so they keep people using there software so they feel "safe". So you probably will have to take it down or lose visitors.Personally I don't use antivirus software for many years and never have any problems. Viruses threats are not that dangerous as they make them out to be. I’m sure I’ll catch some flak for this statement, but they are generally contracted by user ignorance or stupidity. Viruses by definition require user interaction to propagate, which means that if you are infected with a virus, it is because you did something to contract it. and I'm 99% sure getting a virus from just surfing websites alone is not possible.
