Warning Bidding Owners! The Following Script Owner is a Scammer..!

Firstly a repped off script of phplinkbid which I later realized!

I paid 39.95$ for the script but never got it. After payments I pm'ed the dude saying I know I have paid more 10$ coz the link on the site showed me link removal, whereas ur link on dp didn't.

First PM sent after payment: Apr 9th 2007 dude came online and no reply....

Second PM sent after 1st PM: Apr 10th 2007 dude came online and no reply....

I had to make my site, came to know abt phplinkbid and took the script which gave me download link in 1 min.

Time Saved!

Next: I file a Paypal claim... WOW to my surprise I get a email SO fast at lighting SPEED!

He says: After submitting the license request form the page clearly
says that it may take up to 48 hours to send out the script. I will
send you the script after the complaint is dropped.

Now I had gone blind ... or I can't see such page in this site.

I asked him for my refund coz his script was no use to me now. He shows me his terms and conditions page which says "we do not give refunds - all sales are final. Once a license is issued it cannot be modified."

Now when was such license issued for me?

I don't drop the paypal claim, he comes and replies paypal after some 1-2 days saying he delivered the script to me and as usual paypal will take 1month plus to investigate and may refund me.

DP id: cyberoptik - Last Activity: Apr 11th 2007 4:51 am - offline from the time I am trying to contact him!

In the mean while, I added the dude on yahoo, told him that refund me coz I don't have a site where I can use your script anymore, incase I do in future il buy the same again from you.

I even tried to get some decision making with him... but he always refused to reply me back... NO REPLY... I am Busy... NO reply...

What else.. I have been scammed .. stay away from optikscripts! I paid more... and got a bad service, money is not the question when things are delivered on time.. but optikscripts is a scammer for sure!

It had many many bugs when i installed it at first at http://www.bloggerspoint.com/ & he did help me in some cases in beginning, but someone was able to edit the bids without admin access, and this script owner said my host was hacked

Sorry to hear that humm, it's really painful when we stuck things like this. I checked his profile, last activity on 10th April, so he will have more excuses when come back on forums.

I am too thinking to start bidding directory, thanks for the awareness!

phplinkbid is the way to go have it for all mine

 

New version of phplinkbid is gonaa come out soon, with some few extra features, so waiting on that before i start working with this script for my site . Future looks good for the script.

 

Yip so did i for My Bidding Directory and i havent had a bit of problems with it either....

I tend to stick to the best i find no matter how cheap the others are as you always
pay for what you get in one way or another.

I did IM this script owner with a link to this thread, but seems he is not even interested/cared to say something about this.

 

Optikscript was cheap ?? ... it was for nearly 40$ ... I paid more and got nothing..

I told you, he doesn't reply... always NO reply from him!

 

Escalate to PayPal claim - non-receipt. I see no reason why you wouldn't get your money refunded via PayPal.

It's too bad that some think they can keep your money and not offer a refund. Poor business practice - and something to blog about.

I haven't dropped the paypal claim but they will take 1month for investigation and are still doing the same. I hope they refund me!

Update us with the situation

 

They kept me waiting for 1month and then were showing me refund processing status then they suddenly did something strange....

Also have a look at the website now, its suddenly changed to a web solutions n services website.. They have scammed people with the scripts and now are ready to scam offering web services.
