Automated Forex Grail has been removed from sale and replaced with an opt-in page. I have been caught out with this and don't want anyone else to waste any ppc money on sending hops to someones opt-in page so that they can cut out the middle man. I will be reporting to Clickbank as I think this sort of action is disgraceful. Please spread the news and make sure us affiliates are not continuing to be exploited. Jim
Good idea to spread the word Jimz. I am so annoyed by this, its so out of the blue and its ridiculous going to complain as well because this is a joke. I sold my AFG site as well a couple of days earlier and I really dont want the buyer thinking I am trying to scam him. I advise everyone that is promoting this to try and convert as many people as you can through a review page of several forex products or create an opt in list and gather emails.
Thanks for the heads up, I think that's so messed up when publishers play games like that. That deserves a +rep.
This is one of Norb's products. I wonder why he did this with no notification in the middle of selling this site as part of a package with the rest of his sites on sitepoint marketplace. Seems really odd...
It is good to promote these kinds of products when the economy is bad. What are the conversion rate and refund rate of this product?
Just to be clear: This is NOT one of Norb's products it is a partnership that he has been a part of, if it was under Norb's control then I know he would not do this to his affiliates. I am sure he will come on and clear things up a little more soon.
Please let Norb know this and clear thing. It is like that we are talking about something related to somebody, but somebody doesn't know what exactly happened.
Hi guys, The short and sweet of it is: No this is not my product, yes we helped with the launch among many other bigger fx heads, yes we kind of all got screwed including me, no I would never do this to my peoples. This was only given out to the vip's on NC forums and they banked big early however nothing is worth what just happened and I am suffering more than you guys even know due to internal problems this is causing. Please accept my apologies none the less, I should have done more quality control with this and feel like an ass because I helped position it, however again this site, graphics, ea, host, account etc. is not mine or in my control. Thanks for the support from those that know, I can't go around announcing this on all the forums because I was nothing more than a private JV and only my vips were to know about this. Make the most of your day, we take lumps once in a while including me, I can't/won't let this stop me though, speedbumps to success are always expected - and even after a decade of filtering clients/partnerships/jv's etc., one can't always expect to be able to predict or assess moves with perfection... Onwards and upwards, simply try to make the most out of a bad situation, if you have domains and landers, convert them into multi-product reviews as mentioned above to save your efforts to some degree and keep moving forward. N.
What happens to the sale at sitepoint? http://marketplace.sitepoint.com/auctions/63012 Is the site going through a sale process or something? Or is it no longer included in the sale?
sadly this kind of thing seems to be becoming a bit more common place with forex products ... and yeah, often the affiliate is the last to know ... i guess all you can do is regularly check your campaigns ...
Thanks for posting this mate, I am getting tired of venders trying to screw their affiliates over, I mean wtf is wrong with these people!
Just to let everyone know, it is now removed from Clickbank, any hoplinks will just go to “The target url was invalid. Please contact the publisher to get it fixed.†I think that CB should advise affiliates still sending hops, CB can figure this out easy enough. JZ
