Warning....Attention....Directory Owners....There Is A New Serious Scammer Out There.

This is the most shocking thing i came across.

There is one serious scammer/hacker out there and he is using name of our reputable member of DP to scam you guys.

I'm sure many of you (specially the one's with deeplink mod installed) must have received this mail by now:

This mail comes from mail addy:
an0n.rob @ gmail.com

Well the fact is....this mail not being sent by Rob (an0n)...

Firstly...i don't think ever in his life....Rob used the word "Cheers"
Secondly, he always prefer one on one support/business/etc.
Thirdly, and most importantly, i just talked to him about it...and he was shocked to learn about the same.

So all you guys are requested not to give your details via the mail to anyone coz he might a crook posing someone you trust. Same is the case here.
If Rob has got some update for you....he will contact you via Yahoo! or DP....And not by sending multiple mails.

Summary: Save your Ass! And that's the BOTTOMLINE!

I have not received that e-mail. But can't even imagine Rob sending me a mail for that. His YM may be IDLE for sometime during everyday--but he is always online 24x7.

Is it another tricks of those new guys who are trying to malign the names of big directory owners?

I guess so. As DD is already under G scrutiny ( not penalized) - the way to do is to assassinate Rob's character. It does not get dirtier.
