    Hi

This is a warning about anyone considering using http://www.m6.net.

In November 2009 we took up a web hosting plan with this company. We enquired whether we had a 30-days money back guarantee and they confirmed we did. We tried their service for a few days but realised despite clear indications from us that they did not provide support for a specific requirement we had, so we cancelled this plan and requested a refund. They advised us very late that we would have to wait for 2 months before we could get our refund. In good faith we waited for the 2 months to come. They then stopped replying to our messages. We later learned that the reason they set this 2 months waiting period is actually because VISA establish such a period for buyers to put a claim for fraud. Past this period, buyers are not covered anymore.

Their tactic seems to be the following: they ensnare people with a lie that they offer a money-back guarantee, then set a refund date knowing the customer will forfeit any rights with VISA and ignore all correspondence past this date.

We are sickened by this company's bare-faced dishonesty and would warn other potential clients to stay well clear of these people.

More information about the correspondence we engaged with these crooks can be found here:

Wrong. You can dispute this up to 6 months after the purchase. Consumer always wins. Have you filed a dispute?

Then there had to be a really good reason for that. The CC's ALWAYS side with the customer. The only exceptions are where there is an actual card/signature on file, a contract, and proof of use. I've been dealing with disputes like this for over 13 years. It's EXTREMELY difficult and rare that the merchant wins these disputes. What are you not telling us here?

    Mia,

Can I send you the dossier by email and can you take it up with Visa again as we never got anywhere? Your experience sounds like it will be invaluable.

    Thanks,

    Regards,

    Mike

Anyway my first rule of business is never trust a site that uses a lot of stock images or looks not too good in design usually says alot about them also always pay by paypal better for disputes
