Hey I'm also a gamer fan and I visit the GameSpot website everyday. Here's one of today news, thought it may be interesting for some people here. Some 15 unique URLs were registered on July 7, and all of them are related to the Batman lexicon. I don't know, some of these domains sure looks odd. May be an hint about future Batman products/games. Some examples? batman as hes of gotham.com stop mayor sharp.com wheres bruce wayne.com Are they going to far? For a complete list, please take a look at the original story. http://www.gamespot.com/news/6268897.html?tag=latestheadlines;title;2
in related news 10000 people just registered typos of all those names and are trying to get $5000000 a piece for them
They might not be worth anything at the moment but once a product takes shape around these names... the brand value would be huge. The company is just safe-guarding their future interests by buying such related names! Regards, RightMan
Eventuanlly after few months of the movie release the sites are useless how many people here visit batmans site afterall ?
well yes you are right, like avatar and gotham knight movies, they were a hit when movie was in theaters and now it is of no use
Even old movie site domains still get traffic... but you're right in that it won't be quite as valuable as when the movie/blockbuster came out... I wonder if any of the domains actually expire out over time... ?
