    I don't think that they will ever win the war on Pirates whatever they do.
    No matter how crazy there ideas become. Pirated Stuff will always be on sale in all countries. I bet you can buy pirated DVD's in USA also. I don't think this is just some 3rd world country problem.

    Over here in Syria there are over 100s of stores of Pirated Content. But now things have changed. First they used to get them from China, ready on CD's and DVD's.

    Now they are downloading them from the interent. You can get anything you want from the interent. I think that's the biggest problem right now, the net now has made it impossible to bet pirates.

    I right now can download anything I want from the net. From movies to games, even xbox 360 now is pirated.

    Yes maybe it's unethical but that's the way life is right now. :D

    Releasing movies globally at the same time and allowing users to access movies online or on DVD at the same time as cinemas (or VERY shortly thereafter) would be a bigger step in the fight against piracy ... put away the stick, give us a carrot!
