Warn from Google AdSense

I read an article about a warning mail that someone received from Google because he was using the same color patern for the ads as the neighbour content. Unfortunately, I've lost that page, but, anyway, it was written in Romanian. I'm very worried because I use the exact colors and layout as the rest of my content for my ads.

Does anyone know what are the limits of the "making the ads look like content" idea? I think this rule is a little too subjective... What do you think?

Wow, never heard about it. I don't think this should have been a matter of concern. Well, maybe, it helps to avoid unwanted clicks

Your already breaking a rule you will probably get a warning sometime in the future. I heard you cannot have adsense on a site that has the word "adsense" in the URL.

Edit: here is a article on it

I would not make ad same color. You have to make sure people can tell it is not part of a image also.

But, is there a known rule saying that? I think I won't get the same earnings if I change the color of my ads...

Huh? I think Google actually suggests that you blend the ads into the site using the same background color as for the rest of content.

"We still recommend integrating your ad units and link units with your page content or navigation, in order to offer your users relevant ads in addition to the content they normally see."

You have there example with picture using same color and background:
