    Willy,

Wow! I didn't know we have so many Iranians in all over the world! It's also interesting you too know Farsi! :) You're always more than welcome to come to Iran! People here are very hospitable.

By the way, how do you say "hello" and "goodbye" in Spanish? I've never had the chance to have a Spanish friend, but I'd love to learn different languages.

I'd Love to visit Iran. It's been on my list of ''Places I want to Visit'' for ages now. But I always end up going to my beloved Turkey instead. [IMG]

May I just ask...Is it true that even tourists on holiday in Iran have to wear a headscarf?

Yes, it's true. I don't know why we have such a law. I believe people should be free to wear a headscarf or not - especially non-Muslims. Of course you don't have to cover all your hair like I've done in my photo. You should just put a headscarf around your head.

I think there must be Persians in most every country, never had trouble making friends. I don't really speak Farsi but might recognize a phrase or two, sometimes...

Hello is very easy: ¡Hola!, and for goodbye you can use ¡Adiós! or ¡Hasta luego! The literal translation for 'Khoda hafez' would be 'Vaya con dios' :)

Gracias! I think Spanish is a beautiful language. I know a little German and Arabic, and plan to learn a little Spanish. Then maybe French. Then... well, I haven't decided yet! ;)

I like to learn a little from every language! I've downloaded some ebooks about Spanich, French, Italian, and even Chinese language phrases to read sometime.

    Me too Ladan. :)

I love learning languages. I'm studying Turkish at the moment, I've been learning Dutch quite successfully for nearly a year and know little bits of Arabic, French, Spanish, Russian, Danish and German.

It's nice when you meet people, to speak a tiny bit of their language :)

I dunno if you're kidding Michael Jordan, but I really can speak a language called Jibberish.

Me and my mates used to use it in school when we wanted to speak about people/teachers infront of them. Except I could never speak it properly so it ended up getting called Mellaish. Bet no one else can speak that unique load of crap. ;)

    Hi, and welcome

How do you get your payments from Google? I just wonder, because Google is very strict and Iran is on the sanction list.

There's also no WHOIS info about your site.

Not that I want to discredit you, but maybe you found a way for your people in Iran which want to become members of the global community you could share with?

;) And what about women from Iran chatting with infidels?;)

    Anyway good luck to you

Ladan, where in Iran can these flowers grow which are on the background of your pictures? ladan_lashkari.jpg ladan-lashkari.jpg

On the bottom left of the first picture, - are these origami-birds (4 pieces paper folded birds) pinned on Polystyrene from which millions were previously produced and delivered in the south of Thailand? The flowers are more like as if they need hot and humid weather as it is now in Thailand. - Are you Thai?

Arnie, you must be a paranoid type?

For what it's worth, I can see her Whois information just fine thank you (and it seems OK); I also happen to host some sites at the same excellent Texas facility as Ladan (though I'm nowhere near the U.S., either), and surely there are ways to get your AdSense checks no matter where you live (family and relatives abroad, incorporating in the States as per info in my signature, mail forwarding services, etc.)

When I was 12, My friend and I also created some strange alphabets and created a language so we could write secret letters to each other - whithout being worry that our parents or other students might find them! :D

I still use it to write secret things for myself. For example a couple of weeks ago was the Mother's Day in Iran. I wanted to write a note and put it on my desk to remember to buy a gift for my mom. Since I wanted it to be a surprise, I didn't want to write "mom's gift" on the paper, because my desk was somewhere my mom passed every hour.

So I used my special secret language! It worked awesome! My mom saw it a couple of times but couldn't read it. I think everyone need a secret language like this. ;)
