Warez Forum

I have read many sources about this and some say its legal, some say its not. If I have an offshore host, can i have a forum like that?

No files would be hosted on my server, just people posting things.

most offshore hosts in asia have less strict laws about this. basically you would be able to create a warez forum on offshore hosting

 

Needs to be off shore as in china or somewhere, I've being staff at several Warez forums, some with over half a million members. It is allowed as those numbers show, you do your research and don't slip up, one owner got caught by the FBI as he had some files hosted on a American server

 

But what if I don't host any files? Do I still need to look out?

 

well if you are on an offshore server (in asia) you are pretty much safe. you are more safe by not hosting any files on the server. if anything i believe you should get only a warning for such a forum.

Would be safe if its just links.. anther thing if its hosting eventhough offshore..

 

Yea, Best to go offshore then an american datacenter that allows warez linking. One complaint and your fucked.
