Warez Forum 26k members Income average $920 a month

I am interested but what are the implications of owning a warez forum in terms of copy right infringements and what not.

I have $xx,xxx to invest in a online business so....

 

Hi we have had no issues with the hosting...

Paypal have also checked the site and are happy for us to accept paypal payments.

There are no illegal files hosted on the server all zee does is index other sites content.

So to be fair I cannot see any implications. And no copyrights are being broken because all we do is index other sites content.

 

are IPB really allowing you to use thier software to run a warez forum? I think thats against thier TOS isnt it?

Also, torrent sites dont host content (they index too) but that doesnt stop them recieving take down notices from the authorities.

The forum has been up 5-September 05

we have had no issues if there is any content need removing then the host will email a direct link to the thread requesting removal within 24 hours.

We have had only a few of these requests

I think that he might be having a little joke about the Alexa ranking as if Alexa is everything. Maybe he like better Alexa ranking but less monthly income from his sites.

 

One thing I did forget to add there is also a toplist on /topsites << put that after the domain It resets every sunday.

And where is the proof that the site is making $920 p/m? Any screenshots or proof? If there is one then I am sorry but I couldnt see one.

I said my site gets more UNIQUE hits not MORE INCOME. Please read my posts properly ...

I just read your post above. Whats wrong with posting proof of income publicly? Why only let bidders see them ... ? Obviously you have something to hide.

 

The reason we are witholding the screengrabs is because too many people are just nosey, with no intention of bidding. People like you.

As co-owner of this site I know exactly what it makes as I receive half of the profit into my bank every month.

Now if all you are going to do is post stupid posts in this thread I suggest you stop posting in it, bonzer has already said exactly what it has earned up until the end of March 2008 in his original post.

 

Its just hard to believe when sites more popular than yours and well known dont earn as much as yours. And I dont understand how it can be nosey? You are willing to tell people how much you earn but not show any proof?
As I already own a site like yours with more unique hits, and I know many sites which are even more popular than mine, its just hard to believe when you say you are earning $1000 a month.
And no I am not jealous before you say it. I just like being realistic.

 

I find it offensive that you are questioning what the site earns, I know it earns what it does because as I said before I receive half of it into my bank account every month.

If you own a site similar to ours and not making as much money as ours is then you are not marketing it properly. For example, on Monday it took in $95 alone. It's not always how many hits your site can get, it's what you do with the hits.

Now as I have said before if you are not interested in bidding on the site please stop it with the stupid posts, all you are doing is crashing our sales thread.
