Here is my favorite thing to do to an Obama supporter. Ask them this:

"name one single piece of legislation that Barrack Obama has introduced"

You can ask this about his time as an Illinois State Senator, or as a US Senator, or both... I've yet to see anyone answer this when asked on the spot.

Obama stands for Change, nothing else.. Nothing specific, nothing real, nothing cognitive. Just "change"...

I have a feeling that with Obama in the White House we will have just that; in our pockets - CHANGE... Nothing else.

Well he is the mainstream media's golden child... Why would they say anything negative about the candidate they have chosen to win?

I doubt we'd even have that (and pizzaman, she's referring to pocket change, as in coinage).

    See Mia's reply.

I was born in 1979. Thankfully I didn't have to live long through that presidency. Carter really bungled the Iran-Contra affair - it seems like the moment Reagan was inaugurated they suddenly started seeing things our way over there. :)

Look at his voting record and you'll see what Obama's done - oh wait. Never mind. :p

And I'm saying that as one of his constituents - not some nameless anonymous face on them thar Interwebz. (Clarification: I'm not attacking you or anyone else who doesn't use his or her real name; I'm just saying this as a general statement. Please accept my sincere apologies if you or anyone else took this personally or as an offense.)

Oh, I wouldn't say they've *chosen* him to win, but they do seem to looking at him with dreamy eyes...

I'm sure there are millions of dead people in other countries who felt the same way before a dictator came into power and killed them all that would be sure to disagree with you on that point if they could.

Look, I don't like Bush much either (a popular grass-roots slogan around here back in 2000 was "Keep the Bushes OUTSIDE the White House - where they belong!") but there's no way in Hell I'm voting for a candidate who's done nothing or a candidate who wants to move back into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue by lying to everyone she can just to get elected.

As for McCain, well I'm not too hot on his stance either, but at least he's offering something constructive.

(By the way - and this is strictly off-topic: has anyone ever seen this before? www.thingsyoungerthanmccain.com)

That's what I'd like to know as well.

What has been a failure? Remember, nobody's perfect - not even Reagan, Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Lincoln, Truman, Kennedy, or the two Roosevelts were. We're all human, we're all bound to make mistakes from time to time. Some are just better at making more of them than the average person, while others are known better for their mistakes because the things they've tried to do right were blocked by the opposition party. (In this case, G.W. falls into both camps.)

i think mia is wrong about everything.
one should be silenced about things that they do not know anything about
    iran contra affair was regan
as i said what people that support obama want a new direction and someone competent in office. someone that has the right vision for the country and is capable of putting a competent group of people in his adminestratrion. obama has proved he can do that by his campaign.
any way as long as the neocons are out i will be happy
i don't see it that way. but so what anyway.
    i don't get it
to see the foreign policy failure one can point to south america for example
and i would put the current credit problem also on them[ they should have seen the problem coming
also there was a majority republican and hand in hand they made some of the worst years
now you show me where has he succeeded.
what scares me the most about maccain is the posibility that one of these neocons can get back in the office. maybe waxman can investigate more. i dont trust them

    well lets see
return of noriega to power was the result of bush adminestration supporting a diffrent candidate than the popular candidate that was against noriega.
this split the anti noriega vote and helped him win
hamas. bush insistance of including hamas resulted in their success and eventually the control of gaza
hizbolah. hizbolah leader is now the most popular arab leader. some isolation.
iran. i actually think bush might be working for ahmadinejad their infulence has increased. all you have to do is look at all the deals that iran has made in south america to see how good bush policies has been
russia. the atmospher of friendliness and cooperation is gone for most part
for the first time they used their military in their parade.

Please post in complete sentences with proper grammar, capitalization, periods, commas and spelling and I will gladly respond.

For the moment, I cannot understand the gibberish you have posted. I'm gonna have to put you on ignore as a result. You are dumbing me down.

Please PM me when you have complied with my simple requests.

However, if English is a second language for you do let me know as well. If that is the case, I will work harder to decipher your posts. It would also greatly explain your obvious annomosity towards Americans.

    Have a nice day!

There is a key on your keyboard that says "shift", if you hold it while typing a letter it will capitalize it. Try something simple like holding the <shift> key with your right index finger and then hit some keys like this--
    QWERTY

    Now your turn.
