    Hi everyone,

I had wrote a post on the DFP forums but haven't received a response there yet and I was just reminded of this forum by a post over there. Doh'

I'm a rather novice webmaster and I'm wanting to start a bidding process on my site using DFP.

Please take a look at my DFP forum post here: http://groups.google.com/a/googleproductforums.com/forum/#!searchin/dfp/youradrenalinefix/dfp/2Piwix-Nx9A/3510DZAGF1oJ

If anyone could so kindly comment on each of my points made in that forum either there or here, I'd be most appreciative.

    Thanks

I don't see anything wrong with cold contacting potential advertisers to make them aware of your site and ad rates. You'd have to convince them that your site gets traffic and sell it to them as a benefit. If you get pretty good traffic in a demographic they're looking to reach then you should get advertisers to come on board.

The technical parts of your question regarding pricing and how the ads rotate would be better answered by DFP or someone that's currently using it. I wouldn't want to tell you something that's not right and I haven't used DFP yet myself.
