Wanting To Find Value Of A Link Like This

    I have been offered (with a substantial discount) a link on a pr8 site.

    The link would go on the home page and an inside page which are both actual pr8 pages.

    It is a national Chinese news site with 100's millions of visitors every month (although I do not want this to be based on the traffic, just the site authority its self).

    What do you think is a good monthly price for a link like this based simply on the info above? I want to make sure it is a good deal.

    I think you should check the following this as well

    No. of links on that page
    IP address of that site
    Hosting server of the site
    domain name of the site ( I mean it is TLD or country specific)

    As the poster above me mentioned, a BIG factor is the number of links on the page already. If that site is PR8 but links to 80 other sites, you are getting a similar SEO boost as if it were PR1 but only linked to 10 other sites. This will affect the value of the link.
