I am very keen to get into Adwords, I have tried a few times and although never really lost money only just break even or slightly above, have plenty of money so if I could figure it out, could make a lot of money, any sugestions NOT "affiliate links" some good free advice would be nice or some serious training
...the 2nd edition by Perry Marshall and Bryan Todd. The 2nd edition just came out last month, I believe. I've gotten about halfway through the book, and I have learned alot. I'm like you - I have managed AdWord campaigns in the past and have had moderate success. The next book I'm looking to read is Winning Results with Google AdWords by Andew Goodman; it was also updated last year so it should be current info.
great tip mate, quality book new campaighn is going well just testing the water wi a small ad group, so far in 10 days spent £65.80 and made just over £160
...and glad you're making money. Don't forget to measure the lifetime value of those new customers if you really want to evaluate the effectiveness of your pay per click long term - that's really the only way to measure return on investment in advertising.
For basic tips, try a google search for PPC Best Practices or something along the lines of 10 worst adwords mistakes. There is a lot of good info out there!
