=== CLOSED === I HAVE SELECTED SOMEONE FOR THIS JOB. For those who missed out, thanks for taking the time to respond. I have four jobs relating to an osCommerce shop. Please PM me telling me which job(s) you can complete and how quickly. I prefer to pay via PayPal. Job 1 - data entry. Copy the product details from an existing site into the osCommerce site. There is no access to the existing shop's database so this will need to be done manually. There are 85 products and about 15 categories. I suspect that once you've done a couple of them that it will only take you one minute to enter each product. To do this job easily, you need to have the existing shop open as well as the new shop. I have acheived this by manipulating my Windows hosts file. I can talk you through this process but I wouldn't know what you could do if you are using a Mac or Linux. Job 2 - modify osCommerce files to accomodate special feature. We have a couple of products that should not display a price but instead state "email for details". I found a modification that provides this functionality. All you have to do is change some of the PHP code and I have attached the appropriate instructions. So for this job I just need you to backup the existing files, make the modifications and then test that it works correctly. I suspect that this will take 30 minutes. Job 3 - modify template. We have installed a template but we need to change certain elements. You will be provided with a layered PSD with the new elements. I need you to replace the relevant elements such as the masthead and navigation buttons with the new design. PM me if you wish to see the template so you can get an idea of what is required. I suspect that this will take 1-2 hours. Job 4 - provide advice and modify files where necessary. The template we've chosen is pretty good but there are a few weird things going on and we need help with other aspects. The above three jobs could be done by just about anybody, even if you haven't used osCommerce. But for this job, you really need some experience. We might need to remove certain elements (e.g. the currency drop-down menu), change elements (e.g. the breadcrumbs feature isn't displaying well) and modify the template. So to do this you need experience with osCommerce templates and HTML in general. I suspect that there might be 1-5 hours work involved so quote on an hourly basis. Preference will be given to those who can do all four jobs but given the urgency I'm open to any offers.
