Hello guys, I am from india and i wanted to sign up on international Hostgator affiliate program. Please tell me is it possible? If this is possible then I have one old domain which is previously doing Hostgator affiliate. So my question is, Should i go with this domain to start hostgator affiliate or my account will be declined because of that domain having hostgator affiliate history. Note: I was buy that domain name from Godaddy auction. Please let me know your suggestion. Thanks
How many referrals do you plan to get a month? HostGator has a tiered payout structure that pays $50 - $125 per referred customer based on how many referrals you get in a month. However, joining the HG affiliate program through Conversant (formerly Commission Junction), you get a flat $100 payout per join (or used to). If you have less than 21 valid joins per month, you will make more with Conversant than joining the HG affiliate program directly. One caveat is that the HG referral invalidation rate is excessively high. The referral invalidation rates are usually 80% to 100% per month, meaning most of your joins will not pay a commission for one reason or another. You can do some searching on the subject.
