What I want I am looking for talented designers, a mix of designers, designers who specialise in logos, posters, business cards, leaflets, adverts, image manipulation and so on. I am looking for designers who may not have the qualifications, but who are looking for freelance work, whether you're able to do one project a month, or 1 a day, I am interested! Why this may appeal to you You're a designer, so you design. Why bother with the marketing, finding the clients, paying for advertisement? You can work when ever you want, I'll come to you with the brief if I believe it is suited to you, if not no worries! Not clear what it is? Let me try explain... I am setting up a design/graphic design company, which is company which out sources too different designers, which is what this post is about - me getting as many contacts of freelance designers as I can! It works like this, I find the client, I have the contact with the client, the designer doesn't have direct contact unless necessary or in a meeting. Then there is a contract, this contract basically says all the work is legitimate and you are not held responsible for any copyright infringements etc which is sent too the client. I then have the designer which is chosen quote me the cost of the project lets Say £400,Then I quote the client £400+20% (£480) I then invoice the client,Then pay the designer. If you're interested, E-Mail (Bottom of this thread) or PM. I'd prefer E-Mail but I'm sure I'll live. What makes this company different? My idea for this is, that I'm using designers, who are just as talented as the qualified, and from a business perspective, getting the same ammount of work for a smaller price. The Unique selling point too this company is, or the idea behind it is, that this is like a cheap persons graphic design company, it's hard for small company's, or people needing a quick job for personal use to get a cheap, quality product. Which means you wont be on 30k a year, I'm sorry to say, but I will be selling as a professional, which means you'll be earning way more than most un-qualified are! Please be sure to include the following: Age- Qualifications if any- Previous work(link to portfolio, images)- Preferred area of design- Current job, how many hours do you work, or are you studying, how many hours a week is it? - How many hours a week on average are you able to commit too your freelance work for me- Experience- And any other information if necessary. Please note, at this moment in time this is soley designers, no web related E-Mails please, I am not taking any kind of web design work, too keep things simple, with web design, it's a different ball game, and seem to come back to you regarding the same project, which at the moment I don't have time for. Thanks for your time, please no critisim, I know what it is I'm doing, and at the moment not looking for 'advice' on my way about things, this is soley looking for designers, thanks again for your time. Look forward too your replies. Bobby,
Thanks all for the interest, I believe I've replied and got back too all PM's and E-Mails? I've put together a database of designers, where If put all your information, when the client gives me the brief it'll allow me to find the right designer for the job easier! A lot of designers specialising in logos/headers/banners/business cards! Anyone with experience in article lay outs with previous work to show? and any other areas which you feel may not be covered? Thanks!
I believe everyone has being replied too via PM and E-Mail. Great response, I have a firm database of 20 designers in what I believe all areas covered. Hopefully sort out the website today, so I'll keep all the designers updated via E-Mail on the latest with the Agency. Regards, Bobby
