Wanted: reciprocal directory script

    Hi,

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced (or free) reciprocal directory script that would do the following?

    1. Create links on designated static pages automatically.
    2. Allow for ADMIN to check and approve before the link is made live.
    3. Automatically checks for reciprocal link-back .... at set time intervals.
    4. If reciprocal link is not found to flag ADMIN and to automatically send notification email to the other webmaster.
    5. Allows ADMIN to delete links simply .... by just clicking a button?

    Thanks.

I am fairly sure I saw something that does that on either hotscripts.com or php-scripts.

I use arelis to manage my links pages and I absolutely love it.

it doesn't work exactly as you mentioned, but it works well (and it does other things you haven't mentioned- like finding link partners for you)

Once I was looking for something like this and I found xxxwww.wsnlinks.com
Try it. Its not expensive and you can ask for customization. They also have a cool forum where you can ask questions and get valuable answers.

OK - so it helps you to find suitable link partners, but does it then create the links on your web pages or do you have to do them yourself?

I had a look at http://web-design-is.us - same question - Does it create the link on your web page or do you have to do it yourself?

    and SEO-sensey,
I'm still reading through the docs for www.wsnlinks.com
    Thanks.

Wouldn't it be nice if there were software out there that did the usual, AND presented you with an automated means to contact webmasters with propositions. In other words, an email list of WM's willing to receive reciprocal link requests (or at least, a web based submission system that profiles *relevant* data etc and lets you submit to registered parties) - now that would be something if offered free..

The trick of course, is seeing the *relevant* data, and not the usual bollocks fed to WM's by such systems. I mean who cares what the PR of the home page is ! :)

How do you add a link to the page?
Just by clicking a button to accept the link?

Is this page created by arelis?
    http://www.ffshrine.org/resources.php

Any other pages created by arelis that I could have a look at?

    Thanks.

that's the only one I have at the moment; it uses the txt output option from arelis and then parses it with php, but there are simpler ways to go about it.

it's probably best if you download the product, there's a free trial. :)

you can keep lists of sites and keep their statuses lined up (web site links back, waiting for reply, etc) and then there's a seperate column where you decide to link back to them or not
