WANTED: A PPC specialist to manage a variety of PPC campaigns for a series of ecommerce websites. REQUIRED BACKGROUND: - You have managed small and large ad campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and Overture for a variety of clients. - You have at least three years experience in the PPC industry. PROJECT BRIEFING: We are a small search engine marketing firm that has exceeded our current capacity and need to outsource some of our client work. This project will involve starting with a small PPC budget and using it initially with Google Adwords and building a profitable campaign out of it. Over time, we will want to expand into Yahoo and other PPC services, but initially we only want Google campaigns (probably for the first 2-3 months). Initially you will be given 1 website to manage with a small budget of approximately $250USD. We want to see this being used in less than 10 days. Towards the end of the 10 day period we will evaulate your success in generating quality traffic. It is expected that you would be doing continual review of the performance of the campaigns on a daily or semi-daily basis until the right ad text and keywords are found. When this 10 day period approaches it's end, we will review the sales you have generated and determine whether or not it is profitable to continue. If you can provide a valuable service to us during this period, then we will be providing a large budget in the range of $2000 to $5000USD which will be used over a period of a month (ending close to Valentines Day). During this time if you are able to generate a strong profit margin, then we will drastically increase the budget based on your performance. We would consider an ROI of 4 or 5 to be ideal. If you are able to generate this kind of return, then we will continue business activities with you. We require a minimum ROI of 3, if you are unable to reach this then chances are you will not be asked to continue work on this project. In order for you to see how well your ads perform, we are going to implement the Google Conversion Tracking on the website, it will be ready when this project launches. If you are successful with us, we will have no problem with giving additional client work over to you. We are expecting to reach a monthly spending budget of $50,000.00USD by the end of 2006, possibly more if you are able to exceed our expectations. Ideally by the end of 2006, you would be managing 15-20 client PPC projects for us. PREFERRED COMPENSATION: We strongly prefer a PPC Manager that can work on performance-based compensation. For this intial site, for example, we would be looking at a 20-25% compensation for all sales generated. Thus, with a budget of $250, if you turn that into $1000 in revenue we would pay you $200-$250. At which point we would also increase the budget to $4000, which we would like to see $16,000 in revenue ($4000 to you if you can reach it). If you consider the long-term implications of this, it stands to make you a very decent profit if you can reach our goals ($50,000/month = $200,000 monthly revenue = $50,000 to you per month). We have absolutely no problem paying you $50,000/month if you are able to hit our revenue goals. We would be willing to discuss other compensation method such as flat rate percentage of the overall project budget, or even a flat monthly fee. TO APPLY ( *** READ CAREFULLY ***): This project is set to start January 1st, 2006. We are spending the next 3-4 weeks interviewing and qualifying candidates for this project. If you apply in late december for this, chances are you will not be considered. We want all applications recieved preferably within the next 7-10 days (by Dec 10th). All applications MUST send the following information to the email address below. If you fail to include everything outlined below, you will not be considered. Take a few minute to read all the requirements, don't just send us an email saing you want the job, you will be instantly declined and all future considerations for you will be revoked. I apologize for this, but I have posted several positions for work in the past and I've recieved dozens of messages that state "I want the job" or something similiar without any of the requirements that we asked for. READ: -Outline your experience in PPC, list some of the clients/websites you have done ppc campaigns for -Tell us why we should select you over somebody else that applies. What makes you better than the next person to come along? -If we accepted you, how would you prefer to be compensated for the work? As mentioned above we would prefer a commission basis, but if you want a different method outline it and we will consider it. -Your first/last name, phone number, email address, and hours of the day that it is best for us to call you. Please also indicate which time zone you are in. -You must be a GAP. If you are accepted, you will be given the client account number to add to your client list. If you do not know what GAP is, then do not apply. ALSO: -If we are considering you for this position, we must be able to contact at least 3 clients that you have worked for in the past in a similiar capacity. We would be willing to accept 2 clients for this if they were large projects ($100,000+ per month in PPC spending). We would also be willing to consider 1 client reference if they are a massive company (such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc), but they must speak very highly of you when we contact them. This information is not required in your application, but you must have it ready if we decide to carry forward with your application. IMPORTANT: If you cannot provide client references as outlined in the previous paragraph when we ask (or within 72 hours of us asking), you will not be carried forward. Because of the nature of this project, we can only accept managers with PROVEN industry experience. We understand that this is the xmas season and getting ahold of people may be difficult, but we have to be able to contact your past clients/employers. QUESTIONS: You may post questions here and I will answer them, or you can PM/email me. My email address is below. LAST NOTICE: We are not kidding about the very small starting budget of $250. That is what you will be given for the trial run. The website in question is a romantic gift website that sells long stem red roses, gift baskets, flowers, cute stuffed animals, chocolate, perfume, and other gifts that guys buy for their women. Hence the big budget increase after the trial period - it will be just in time for the Valentines rush. EMAIL: Send all applications to QUESTIONS ALREADY ASKED: What is the romantic gift site? I cannot give you the URL yet. The site is in the process of being setup right now. We expect the design to be completed by the 10th of December. After that point we will need a few days to customize the product offerings, then we will release the domain name (eta is the 15th-20th). Some of the products that will be offered include: long stem red roses, other flowers/roses, jewelry (i.e. engagement rings, diamond rings, gemstone necklaces, etc), perfume (not sure on which brands yet), chocolate, and gift baskets. Who is the target market of the romantic gift website? Men looking to buy romantic gifts for women. Most of the products on the site can be delivered within 48 hours of being ordered. The design of the site was created with men in mind, but it is a very professional appearance that we feel will convert quite well. Why does your mediadelta.com website look like it's not finished? Because it isn't. We were in the process of having it built when we recieved a huge influx of clients and had to stop development on it to focus exclusively on our clients (we currently manage approximately 400 clients). The media delta website will be completed hopefully in the next 2-3 months. If your company website is not finished, how are you attracting clients? That's not really relevant to this posting, but all of our clients signup by word of mouth. We are very successful at what we do, so our clients are happy to mention us to their associates. 99% of our clients are generated by word of mouth alone.
