Update: by "Data miners" we do not mean web crawling or copy pasting data from the web, we have already put in place the existing data on the web but the web is not comprehensive and structured, we have managed to structure most of the common data. Data Miners is a term we are using to identify people who will action the task of finding the data from different locations. Data can be procured by Right to Information, from relevant NGO's, niche surveys online/offline, digitizing and structuring data from newspapers etc. The website which will be hosted soon has a "data graph" which has all structured linked data from user created hierarchical content using simple methods, the website also features developer apps which will allow general developers to query, analyse and present the data/data segments using the "rest api", we have written a couple of apps ourselves and the website is an app deriving data from the graph. We are going to make visual data from the "graph", like cool infographics, video, documentaries, timelines, charts, graphs,websites etc. ThePlatform is an open initiative which will use the data and viualisations to take action and reform society, this has its own website and social media presense you can check and like ThePlatform
