Hello Folks, I've been on DP for almost a month now and I must admit that this forum has been one of the most informative, entertaining, and resourceful sites on the net for me. I wish I would've signed up for DP a looooooong time ago. I've made a few friends, shared a few laughs, and I even got scammed (although not for much and I will be getting my money back via Paypal). So far so good. You live and you learn. I've even learned a few tips from some helpful people that have been in the website game for some time now, and it was nice being able to collaborate with fellow website and business owners such as myself in learning of ways to possibly increase business. I've also met "experts" or coaches who claim that they pull in 100k a month with their website or blog through adsense and/or other ad revenue sources. In addition to them, I've also ran into a few people who say that they help created internet power blogs that pulls in several million visitors per month and several hundred thousands of dollars if not millions per year. And that's what brought me here today to create this post. I'm looking for these "experts" if they so truly exist on here, and I have a legitimate business proposition for them with regards to myself, my company,and my website. A little bit about myself... I run a entertainment media company where I run an online magazine that caters to the urban crowd called The Urban Twist and the website can be found here: http://www.theurbantwist.com Right now, we cater to urban audiences but will slowly expand to cover more audiences as well and may change name to "The Twist" or something like that to give company a bigger mass appeal. My goal is to make my site a more urban kind of Huffington Post or something like that to give an example, where we will cover everything from entertainment to politics. TheUrbanTwist.com currently has close to 20 writers blogging and we're looking for more writers as well to contribute to certain sections of the site. People want in, but as of right now we don't have the resources to take on everyone who applies to work with site. In addidtion to me running this blog, I am also an accomplished filmmaker. I have yet to make any films that have made the big screen nationally, but if I keep pushing that will change eventually. Right now I am all about The urban Twist and me and my team have a few programs in the preproduction stages to be turned into a couple of web series for my TheUrbanTwist.TV brand. Within the next few months, I will be shooting a sitcom and reality tv series with its sole purpose ofe being used as a promotional vehicle for my site. I'm real serious about this. I'm basically looking for one of these "experts" or coaches to help build my site into one of these "power" blogs that I've read about on here. I'm looking for someone to help get my site millions of quality visitors. I know that these "experts" get harrassed on DP with similar requests such as mine so all I'm asking you to do is check out my site and see if it'll be worth your time. My site is very professional and not like the typical blog. I'm looking into creating a long term and possible permanent position (depending on commitment level) with this coach and am willing to pay, but unfortunately can only do so once some results are seen. I'm willing to even hammer out a contract with my lawyer to bring you on as an official business partner if results are of serious gains. I'm serious about this! If you were to check out my work, you will see that I am a very motivated individual and I will be successful...matter of fact I want success as much as I want to breathe. To quickly summarize again what I'm looking for because my post is getting long. I'm looking for: 1) Someone with a proven track record, that really knows their stuff when it comes to branding and building up a site to have a substantial following. 2) Someone that I can map out my strategies and business plans. 3) Have this coach then set me out some weekly / monthly series of tasks that I am to complete 4) Able to help increase ad revenue, but I'm sure that once the traffic comes regularly that this won't be a problem. Here's what I'm not looking for: 1) Someone claiming to be able to make me $1 million dollars through advertising programs such as adsense. I'm always interested in making money but this post is not for that. If I can get the traffic as outlined here, the money will come. 2) People trying to sell me traffic. I've bought traffic before many moons ago, and 99 percent of the time that kind of traffic never works for me for obvious reasons. I'm more about branding my site and building it up through viable marketing techniques and methods. 3.) People trying to sell me ebooks on how get more traffic. I am a very well read individual and I have purchased ebooks and other books to study. I've even took some college business courses dealing with online marketing.
