    You can try to adapt a template from another category.. or you can find good templates in template monster.

    Hi, are you still after guitar-related websites?

    I've just left the web company I worked at, where I set up www.killerpedals.com as a kind of hobby - we wanted an e-commerce site we ran ourselves so we could talk to clients about it from both a design/development and merchant's point of view.

    Anyway, I was the only one at the company with any interest in it and it only shifts one or two pedals a month on average, so it's not worth keeping it going from my point of view, taking in to account the cost of holding stock and the monthly merchant account/PSP fees. The low sales volume is down to being very niche I think.

    • No.1 in Google for "boutique pedals", "boutique guitar pedals" and "boutique effects pedals". No.25 for "guitar effects pedals", 34 for "guitar pedals".
      Top 10 on MSN for "boutique pedals", "boutique guitar pedals" and "boutique effects pedals".
      Top 10 on Yahoo for "boutique guitar pedals" and "boutique effects pedals".
    • Over 2100 user sessions last month.
    • 105 links in Yahoo (linkdomain: on .co.uk, shows 25 on yahoo.com)
      214 links in MSN (linkdomain:)
      3 links in Google (internal though, using link:)

    The site could be sold with e-commerce software intact, although it is bespoke without support or documentation. I know that the "delete item" admin function doesn't work, has to be done manually. Everything else works.

    I imagine this has more value as a ready-to-go domain (and possibly design - PSD can be supplied) rather than a turnkey e-commerce site.


    Let me know if you're interested, must be worth a reasonable amount to someone active in this area?
