I am looking for a forum to moderate. I aspire to one day run my own forum, but until then I'd like to see what's involved with a bit less commitment. I do have to ask however that forum owner either have some traffic ("real posters") or be actively committing reasonable time/money into gaining now members. We get sign-ups in our freelance forum, but none of them end up posting anything. Will you be able to do something about that? Any tips or ideas?
IBBNET, Your forum doesn't get many postings because it's dead. Your users signup before they realize they are the only one to read their post. You will need to spend some money on paid posting if you want users.
Little bit, but not much. If your actively promoting your forum and you have either paid posters or a few active real posters I'll consider it. I'm doing this to see what's involved & learn from your venture should I ever decide to start one on my own.
