just for info best deal dosent means cheapest best deal means 1) best hardware.. ie new and branded 2) solid network or multiple and good bandwidth provider 3) above all reliable services this will make your deal best , if you are looking for a cheap stop then you might get lots of problem because this is dedicated server, once your drive gets crash then pay $$$ to get your data recovered so its better to spend little more for now instead of spending thousands later makes sense ?
Its not the cheapest deal i am looking for, i am looking for the best deal which is the same price i have been offered. If you cant match it or give better i am not interested! The place i am getting this deal from is a very well established company in the UK!
Unfortunately that 100MBPS is not dedicated but shared among tons of people. Also if you do some research you will find OVH has frequent network problems and is perhaps the worst of all I have ever seen. I will highly recommend you to remain away from OVH if you want a good uptime. OVH network is well-known for frequent downtimes and also OVH doesn't have good connectivity to many places of the world.
100% agreed , i have stated all these points in my previous post OVH use low end hardwares, shared bandwidth still if you think its good then you can go with them
Let me give you one, OVH doesn't have support! If you hire support your server cost is going to increase anyway.. So good luck!
I am Using OVH ... Well Never Needed There Support But Still If You Want Support You Will Have To Pay ... General Support is FREE They Have a Very Good Panel In Which U Have Almost Every Option like Hard Reboot , OS Change , Rescue Mode , Monitoring and Other Tools ... I Don't Say Them Bad , But Have GOOD Service , I Have The Kimsufi Servers and Have Almost 35+ Mbps Network Working All Time , And Very Little Down Time
What are your sources? I think their a great company. I have 11 active dedicated servers from OVH, and I can say I have never had problems with the network. The network itself is one of the fastest I have ever seen. The 100mbit is just about dedicated, I often burst to 100mbit when needed. I have never had any downtime from OVH, their uptime SLA means they will refund you if it ever goes below 99.9%. I have never needed to do that though. Servers are setup very fast, I got one setup in 23 minutes from the second I paid. So I'd fully recommend them.
Hey I understand what your saying, however they are very slow at answering questions! I have mailed them a few times and can wait up to 4/5 hours for them to answer some simple questions! I just dont like the slowness of responses, hence the reason i am asking if anyone has anything else to offer
You could try http://serverloft.com/ I have 2 servers from them, you can choose location between Germany or USA, also they have nice support and good uptime, big bandwidth, very very nice hardware and a nice control panel for your server. Prices are acceptable.
