Hi Folks, I'm looking to use NGINX to be able to do the following; 1. Direct customers to subdomain.example.com (password protected) which then redirects to a website using NGINX as a proxy so all the requests come from the same IP. 2. Essentially, it simply needs to act as a web proxy. How difficult is this to get up and running? I'm looking to collect info from people so I know roughly the ask at hand, but I'd also be interested in paying someone for their services to set this up on my server. Webdev
How difficult is the task in hand? What sort of timeframe are we looking at? Do we need a seperate server for this to run on, other than the one we use to host our website(s)? WebDev
I'm sorry about late reply, I didn't receive any notification when you replied. This is actually not difficult and should not take much time (about an hour at most) but still it depends on your current setup. If you are interested in discussing this further you can always PM me as for some odd reasons I am unable to receive any alert or notification. Thanks
I guess you were able to set this up already if not use POUND on your proxy server with nginx. Setting up POUND is very easy and many tutorials can be found on internet
You can deploy a Free Webpanel which easily allows NGINX web proxy. Setting one by yourself can be simple too
