Want to try something new with my reciprocal links directory.

Had an idea that might actually change the way the SE's look at my site. I, as well as a bunch of other site owners have a link directory, usually found at www.mysite.cim/links or /resources.

But I what if I create a subdomain, like links.mysite.com and point it to that folder? I remove the internal link to the /links folder, and make it a link pointing outside my site to the links.mysite.com. Wouldn't the goog consider that a completely different site, especially if it was more of a real link directory type application as opposed to an internal link directory?

Maybe I can market it completely differently, and it can actually provide a service as opposed to a reciprical link exchange.

Would Google see that my site does not directly point to the reciprocal's any more, and see those links as IBL's instead of recip?

I'd still be providing a linking structure, with a link from my homepage to the directory. The link partners would get the benefit, and I would get the benefit of IBL's.

    Your thoughts.
