Hi I am in trouble. I have a domain 8 to 9 year old. I have register it with an email address which is not available as the service provider of that domain has stopped the service. Now I don't have the User name and password of the domain my domain service provider was handling it for lost 6 and so years. Now I want to change my hosting other from my service provider. I asked his to send domain control panel information. he told me that I can only receive the information on mail by which I have register the domain. As I told above email is not available. then asked him to change the name server through there admin panel. they said that they can not as they are using the older domain cpanel. They have asked me to talk to registrar. Registrar: TUCOWS INC. Whois Server: whois.tucows.com Referral URL: http://domainhelp.opensrs.net I have send mail from there site and also at the address available on site. them I phone them and also fax them all related information but the only response which I got is talk to your service provider. service provider says he is helpless Now please suggest me what I can do to take my domain in my control. Is there anyway. If some one can help it will be a great help.
i would contact Tucows, probably need to send a copy of your passport/proof of identity at minimum. then they should be able to help you. Tucows support is very good generally speaking. But contact Tucows and go from there.
